Looking In was a public art installation presented as part of the Nocturnal Winter Arts Festival in Dandenong 2012. The work was displayed in the Dandenong car park along with a number of other participating artists’ works. The piece responded to the theme of light in winter and the welcoming nature of houses lit from within at night. Ceramics shaped like miniature dwellings were illuminated by LED lighting and fixed to a low ceiling inside the car-park. Intricate and somewhat hidden, viewers had to bend, crouch and reposition themselves in order to see the work.
